Stone and Shipman ranked as Local Litigation Stars
Attorneys Roger Stone and James Shipman have been ranked as Local Litigation Stars by Benchmark Litigation 2014. The Local Litigation Star ranking recognizes individuals recommended by clients and peers as being consistently reputable and effective. Rankings are given after a six-month research period and based on interviews that focus on each attorney’s recent casework and the professional opinion of peers. Roger Stone is recognized as a Local Litigation Star in Iowa (plaintiff) for his work in environmental law. James Shipman is recognized as a Local Litigation Star in Iowa (plaintiff) for his work in insurance and product liability law.

Holtman and Stone make Iowa’s Top 10 Attorney List
22 SPMB attorneys included in 2013 Great Plains Super Lawyers®
Attorneys Stephen Holtman and Roger Stone were recently named Iowa Top 10 Attorneys by Super Lawyers® 2013. Additionally, 22 SPMB attorneys were included in 2013 Great Plains Super Lawyers® lists.
Each year, the research team at Super Lawyers undertakes a selection process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, independent evaluation of candidates by the attorney-led research staff, a peer review of candidates by practice area and a good-standing and disciplinary check.
Attorneys, Christine Conover, Matt Hektoen, Jacob Koller and Carrie Thompson were selected as 2013 Great Plains Rising Stars®. Rising Stars candidates must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less. No more than five percent of the lawyers in Iowa are named to Super Lawyers, and no more than 2.5 percent are named to the Rising Stars list.

ROBERTS AND STONE NAMED BEST LAWYERS® 2014
